My Garden
I'm so excited! We finally got the garden planted! Dude, this is HARD WORK. I dug up a 7x8 plot, moved all of the grass over to another part of the yard (we are trying to get grass to grow there!), put down about 10 bags of soil, and then planted.
We have planted red & green bell peppers, zucchini, cherry tomatos, and cucumbers. So far they look like they are doing pretty well!
Hey your garden looks great!! Can't wait for some fresh veggies from it. Something you may want to consider is mulch. That way you don't have to pull weeds(Yea!!) & it keeps the soil cooler & the moisture in during the hot summer.
I know it's hard work, but isn't it satisfying to see the fruits of your labor? (No pun intended there) =) You'll have to post some pictures later of all the stuff you "harvest."
