Annie's Catechism
Annie's Bible curriculum this year has a catechism that she is learning. You ask her the question, and she responds with the answer about God. She is learning a lot about Him and His truth, and they will be ingrained in her heart as she is memorizing them. Here is her reciting questions 1-5:

Lindsay, where do you get your Bible curriculum? Is it A Beka or do you get something else? I haven't found one yet that I'm super thrilled with, so any suggestions you have, would be appreciated. =)
Was this clip from the new school year, or was this something she learned last year? If you've already started the new school year, how is it going?
We are going through Christian Liberty Academy (www.homeschools.org) and we get all of our curriculum through there. They actually pull from a lot of different publishers (Bob Jones, Abeka, etc.), but they also publish some of their own, and the Bible Curriculum is one of those. Christian Liberty Press is the publisher.
We have been really happy with it so far...yes, it is for this school year. We finished up late Feb. with the previous year, and went ahead and started 1st (Annie) and 2nd (Matthew) mid-May. Since we take off so much time during the Fall/Spring, it makes sense for us to keep working through the summer.
So far it's going great! It's a little bit more work than Annie's used to, so that's interesting. She's not very Self-motivated, so we're working on ways to make it more fun for her. Matthew just sails along like it's nothing...until he actually has to stop and think!
That's our theme for this week: Think!!! Mommy should not HAVE to say, "Don't peel paint off the bathtub!" (Right??)
